How to purge CDR database of old unwanted CDRs?

Hi

I have exported old CDR’s already to an external archive, now I want to permanently remove them from the CDR database to reduce its size.

What is the best way to perform this, please?

There is no built-in tool to remove particular CDRs, but it is possible to configure automatic retention:

/opt/yeti-web/config/yeti_web.yml

partition_remove_delay:
  cdr.cdr: 120

Yeti will keep CDRs for 120 months in this example

I changed to 6 months retention as detailed above and restarted yeti-web. After a couple of hours all CDR partitions older than 6 months had been removed and disk space freed up. Success.
