Managing SIP sessions


I’m new to the SBC world, so I have a doubt. Can yeti handle SIP registrations? For example, if a configure my IP phone to register with yeti, can yeti send that register message to the appropiate PBX inside my network?

There is no relation between incoming registration and outgoing registration in yeti. Incoming registration(from IP phone to yeti in your case) may be used for termination calls to your IP phone when it IP is not static, but it will not trigger any registration from yeti to some remote gw.

In general it is bad idea to have any SBC/b2bua between your IP phone and some class5 pbx(which should handle registrations from IP phones in best case scenarion)
